 What lovely, lovely poetry!  It truly is inspirational writing, and some of the poems deeply moved me.  Your readers will be sure to feel the same way.  Thank you for sharing them with the world. 

 Love how this book is transparent in communicating on how we should communicate with God. In order for God to heal, deliver and restore we must be transparent. Thank you Tawana for sharing what was on your heart.....this is just the beginning of something GREAT that God has in store for you. Be bless 

 I have known, worked and am a friend of the author, Tawana Forte. The Tawana that I know has been through heartache, loss of a parent, surgeries (yes, plural), backstabbing and envy of those she tries to help and I can't help but admire her determination, dedication and commitment to give the world this gift. Although the book is entitled Through My Eyes: My Spiritual Journey, please don't hesitate to get this book fearing that it is a book filled with religious sentiment. This book is so much more. This book was written from the heart and from knowing how life can turn on a dime. This book is filled with poems that any person from any walk of life can relate to. The poems are simply simple. I am not sure of any other way to explain this book but to say that it is black and white, not a shade of gray. There are many wonderful poems out there but some have words that I have not heard of. Some poems contain allegories which are used to convey the author's intent. Some are so convoluted that it is difficult to understand. To read the poems in this book is to be enlightened.

What makes this book so special is that you can read any poem and "click" a light bulb comes on. You don't need to sit there and ponder on the meaning as it is right there in black and white. Even though these poems are based on Tawana's experience and relationship with God, there is something for everyone.

*You might be going through difficult times and feel that there is no one to help you. Read this book!
*You feel like the only time you ask God for help is when you need it and you feel guilty about that. Read this book!
*You are feeling sad or depressed and need something uplifting. Read this book!
*You feel lost and can't seem to find the right path even when you look. Read this book!
*Everything is going well in your life and you want to do something meaningful but don't know what. Read this book!
*You feel that God has blessed you and yet you ask yourself why. Read this book!
*You have a friend or relative that is going through hardship and you want to help them but don't know what to say to them. Read this book!
*You have a wonderful relationship with God and want to spread it to others. Read this book!

I could continue to list reasons but why not get this book and find out how to help others and yourself by SIMPLY reading these inspirational poems. I am sure that once you read them, you will find that one poem that pierces right through your heart. Mine is called "Stumbling" found on page 20.

Another great thing about Tawana's poems is that you can read them over and over and find a new meaning that will help you with whatever situation is currently happening in your life or in the lives of those around you. 

 If you like a good read this book is something uplifting, hopeful, get that believing & Faith back up.  Something that lets you understand you're not alone, (I, YOU, WE) are all going thru, been thru or have a great testimony on how (I, YOU, WE) got thru. 

 Your book reaffirms that God is truly walking with me during every trial or tribulation.  He is my everything.  

 I read this book of poems and I must say, very well written.  Most of the poems I had to read twice because I was touched and they seemed to be my words, my thoughts and my life.  Great job-well done.  I can't wait for the next one! 

 A very spiritual down to earth and easy to read book.  A modern day book of psalms.  Very uplifting and encouraging.  Love it!! 

 WOW!  These poems are so awesome!  I was encouraged and felt enshrouded in a war, comforting feeling throughout most of the reading.  So great!  Fabulous work, I'm so inspired and can hardly wait to promote this on our Facebook page once it is published. 

 Can I just say that your book has truly been a blessing!  I mean, it was like you wrote it specifically for me.  I can't tell you which one I identified the most with because I liked them all......maybe Devine Intervention.  I can't remember exact quotes but I think that one spoke to me more.  I loved how you correlated the scriptures with your poems.  Excellent job!  It is a true page turner. 

 My sweetie...you have such a unique anointing; unlike the "usual" poet/writer. Whenever I look at a writing, a blurb (because I do keep those --- anything you've given to me I always go back and look again), a full poem....I often-times can actually "taste" the word "EXPERIENCE". Your words engage the audience because it feels so real and it feels as if you just came out of that experience; and it feels so deep-rooted. My prayer for you is that when His timing releases you, that you are ready and well-prepared for the leap. I believe the flood gates will burst full-force at that time. I think the best thing of all, is that your heart is in the right place and it's MORE than evident! The blessing of the Lord be upon you: I bless YOU in Jesus Name!!  I love you HUGE!!
