About Me

Who Am I?

My name is Tawana (Mikki) Forté, born in White Plains, New York and now residing in Connecticut. I am a God-fearing author of inspirational poetry. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and I’m here to encourage and remind others of God’s everlasting love through my books.

Background

I started writing poetry at a young age but considered them to be my personal diary. I never intended on publishing, but God’s plans were so much greater than my plans. In November of 2012, an event at my church showed me that the gift He bestowed upon me was needed by others. God is continuously pouring into me and I am putting pen to paper to pour into others.

Mission

My prayer is that my inspirational books will spiritually uplift you and give you newfound hope. My prayer is that you will be reminded of God's constant love--right when you need it the most.
