Through My Eyes: My Spiritual Journey-Excertps

 He gives me the hope I need,
when it seems so out of reach.
He gives me reassurance,
when doubt screams in my head.
He fills this emptiness,
when void echoes loneliness.

 My Lord,
I extend my arms gratefully, saying
"I welcome you in today,
tomorrow
and always.
Shower me with your presence.

 A butterfly-free flying,
Beautiful, full of radiance,
Admired by many.
A sign of breaking away
From old self and celebrating life.

Shield me not from the rain.
As the trees, plants and flowers thirst for rain,
I too, thirst.

 Hear the ringing of your alarm clock,

Waking you to

A new perspective on life;

 You may go through

But know

I go through with you;

Causing a supernatural shift to take place in your life,

 RISE UP!
And feel my strength upon you.

RISE UP!

And feel the spirit that weighed you down

Fall to the wayside.

 How is your sponge?

Once wet but drying up

Or

Constantly wet and dripping of water?
